Thermally insulated glazing

Our thermal insulated glazing creates an improved living and working environment.

Modern glass is able to increase the interior surface temperature of the glass and thus prevent drafts.

Comfort can be considerably increased, due to the fact that the room temperature is not significantly different to the surface temperatures of the surrounding walls and windows.

Hero-Therm

Number of glass panes 2
U value 3.0 W/m²K *
Inert gas No
Coating No

Hero-Therm is uncoated insulating glass which can be used for replacement and repair glazing.

* Typical U value of glazing unit. The actual U values are given in the corresponding statement of performance.

Hero-Plus S

Number of glass panes 2
U value 1.1 W/m²K *
Inert gas Yes
Coating Yes

Hero Plus S is an insulating glazing, which provides good thermal insulation by filling the cavity between the panes with inert gases and by coating.

* Typical U value of glazing unit. The actual U values are given in the corresponding statement of performance.

Hero-top S 1.0

Number of glass panes 2
U value 1.0 W/m²K *
Inert gas Yes
Coating Yes

Hero Top S 1.0 is insulating double glazing that provides considerably energy savings. It has inert gas between the panes and a special coating. This is recognised by the low U value of 1.0.

* Typical U value of glazing unit. The actual U values are given in the corresponding statement of performance.

Hero-Top S

Number of glass panes 3
U value 0.7 W/m²K *
Inert gas Yes
Coating Yes

Hero-Top S is insulating triple glazing, which achieves very low U values.

* Typical U value of glazing unit. The actual U values are given in the corresponding statement of performance.
